How does the NocFree tri-mode keyboard connect? Do I need cables between the parts?
We support Bluetooth, 2.4G, and wired modes:
- Bluetooth: Switch all three parts (left keyboard, right keyboard, and number pad) to wireless mode, pair your computer with the “NocFree &” signal once, and all three sections connect wirelessly — no cables needed.
- 2.4G: Switch all three parts to wireless mode, plug in the dongle, and all three parts (left keyboard, right keyboard, and number pad) connect automatically.
- Wired: Switch all three parts to wired mode, Connect the left keyboard to your computer with a type-C cable; the right keyboard and number pad connect wirelessly to the left keyboard.
Does NocFree & support connecting to multiple devices?
Yes.
You can pair NocFree & with three Bluetooth devices and switch between them easily.
How do I charge NocFree &? How long does the battery last?
Charge each part by connecting via USB-C.
A full charge typically lasts 1–3 months depending on backlight brightness and usage.
You can check battery levels anytime using NocFree Link software.
Note: The left half, right half, and numpad charge separately.

Is there software for key remapping and customization?
Yes.
Our NocFree Link software lets you customize:
- key mappings
- macros

- advanced behaviors
No programming knowledge required.
How do I switch between Mac and Windows layouts?
You’ll receive an extra set of Windows keycaps in the box.
Layout switching is handled inside NocFree Link. We intentionally avoided hotkey layout switching — many users trigger it accidentally. This way, your layout stays stable and predictable.
I don’t use a numpad often. Is the numpad still useful for me?
Definitely.
You can remap every key on the numpad via NocFree Link, turning it into a:
- macro pad
- creative shortcut pad
- editing tool hub
- productivity launcher
Think of it as a modular tool, not just a numpad.
Hardware & Compatibility
Does NocFree & support ISO layouts?
Yes!
We currently support: UK-ISO, DE-ISO, Nordic-ISO, FR-ISO.
Are the switches factory-lubed and can I use low-profile switches from other brands?
Yes. NocFree & is compatible with TTC and Cherry low-profile mechanical switches.
However, for best sound and feel, we recommend our own switch set.
Shipping & Orders
Can I purchase the numpad separately?
Currently, the numpad cannot be purchased or used independently. It needs to work in conjunction with the main left and right keyboards to connect with your computer.
How long will it take to get my orders?
NocFree & is scheduled to ship early March. All accessories will ship together with the main keyboard.
