Firmware & Updates

Keep your NocFree & up to date for the latest improvements and fixes.

Update

Before You Update

Firmware updates may improve wireless stability, key input behavior, and other aspects of the typing experience.

NocFree & has 3 parts that need to be updated separately: the Dongle, Left Keyboard, and Right Keyboard.

Each part uses its own firmware file, so make sure all three are updated in the correct order below.

Watch Firmware Update Guide →
Order

Follow the Correct Order

01
Dongle Update the Dongle first.
02
Left Keyboard Update the left half second.
03
Right Keyboard Update the right half last.
Important

Use the Correct File

  • Make sure the Dongle, Left Keyboard, and Right Keyboard each use the correct firmware file.
  • Do not disconnect the device while the firmware file is being applied.
  • Reconnect the keyboard after the update is complete.
  • The NocFree & Numpad uses its own firmware and is updated separately.
!
Something went wrong during the update?

If the wrong firmware was installed, the device cannot enter DFU mode, or the 2.4G Dongle connection stops working after an update, recovery steps may be required.

Please refer to the Troubleshooting section below for recovery guidance.
